Juicing is incredibly healthy but can become time consuming and repetitive. Switch up your regular routine with this beverage recipe that’s fun to make but still packed with vitamins and nutrients.
Makes 2 drinks
8 shots apple cider
1 large handful of kale
2 shots fresh lemon juice
1 cube cane sugar
6 slices fresh ginger
- Add the kale, lemon juice, cane sugar cube and ginger to a shaker.
- Muddle the ingredients in the bottom of the shaker until thoroughly crushed and the sugar has mostly dissolved.
- Add the apple cider and ice to above the level of the liquid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds
- Strain the mixture into a large glass with cubes of ice.
